Terms of Service

Welcome to eWonic. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the eWonic mobile and web applications (“App”), operated by eWonic Corporation (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

- eWonic provides real-time voice-to-voice translation services for in-person conversations.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
- You are responsible for your use of the App and for any content you transmit.

2. Accounts and Subscription Access

- Free usage may remain anonymous.
- If you use subscription sync or restore features, you may provide an email address to link your access across devices.
- You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

- Paid plans are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s in-app purchase system.
- Renewal timing, billing, and cancellation are governed by Apple’s subscription rules and your App Store account settings.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple account subscription settings.

4. Audio and Translation Data

- Audio data is processed live on-device, except Cloud Live online translation audio, which is sent to Gemini for live translation.
- If you request generated Personal Notes, the selected transcript and note instructions are sent through Supabase to Gemini to create the requested notes.
- We do not store conversations or transcripts as a long-term archive on eWonic servers.
- Saved transcripts and notes are stored locally on your device unless you export or share them.

5. Third-Party Services

- If account sync, Cloud Live, or Personal Notes is enabled, Supabase may process account identity, subscription-sync data, entitlement checks, short-lived Cloud Live token requests, and generated-note requests.
- Gemini processes Cloud Live online translation audio and selected transcript text for generated Personal Notes.
- These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

6. No Warranties

- eWonic is provided “as is” and “as available.”
- We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the translations or the App.
- Use of the App is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for damages of any kind arising out of or related to your use of the App, including errors in translation, missed communications, or interruptions.
- We are not liable for decisions made based on translated content.

8. Acceptable Use

- You agree not to use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- You must not interfere with the operation of the App or access it in unauthorized ways.

9. Intellectual Property

- All rights to the App, logo, code, and underlying technology belong to eWonic Corporation.
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without permission.

10. Changes to the Terms

- We may update these Terms from time to time.
- Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
- Changes will be announced in-app or via store update notes.

11. Governing Law

- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
- Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
