Have one phone create a hotspot, connect the other devices to it, then join by QR code, room code, or nearby discovery. iOS only devices can connect to eachother without a wi-fi router natively.
Paid translation and Conference hosting need host internet, an active plan, and a connected account when access must be verified.
Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera and allow eWonic. You can also enter the room code manually if QR scanning fails.
Use the same Wi-Fi or hotspot, keep devices awake and close, and allow Local Network access. If discovery fails, use QR or room code.
Check the listener’s selected language, volume, silent mode, and audio output route. If using Bluetooth or AirPods, reconnect them or switch temporarily to speaker.

eWonic supports 70+ languages, and Starter and Growth plans run 2 at the same time in a single Conference. If your room needs a third language at once, the Third Language add-on raises it to 3. Everyone still picks their own language — the limit is how many run simultaneously.

No. The host needs internet for translation. Without a router, use a phone hotspot so devices can join the same local room.
