This Privacy Policy describes how eWonic Corporation (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the eWonic mobile or web application (“App”). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Policy.


1. Summary

We do not collect, store, or share any personal data. eWonic is designed for real-time, device-local translation and communication. No accounts are required, and no conversations are stored.


2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect or store: - Your name, email address, or any personal identifier - Account information (there are no logins) - Location data - Contact lists or device metadata - Payment or billing information - Biometric data or images

3. Audio and Voice Data

·       The App uses your device’s microphone to capture voice input for real-time translation.

·       All processing happens locally on the device or, in some fallback cases, through secure transmission to Microsoft Azure’s speech services.

·       No audio or transcript data is stored on our servers. The app does not record or archive conversations.

4. Use of Bluetooth and Local Networking

·       To enable peer-to-peer connections, we use Apple’s MultipeerConnectivity framework.

·       Discovery and communication occur over local networks (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth).

·       No location or personal data is collected, transmitted, or stored during this process.

5. Third-Party Services

·       In fallback translation scenarios, encrypted data may be temporarily sent to Microsoft Azure via HTTPS.

·       These services process the data for the immediate translation and do not store it on our behalf.

·       Use of their services is subject to Microsoft’s own privacy policies.

6. Analytics and Tracking

·       We do not use analytics tools such as Firebase, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Sentry.

·       We do not track user behavior or usage patterns.

7. Security

·       We use industry-standard security protocols (e.g., HTTPS, TLS) when external communication is necessary.

·       Local connections via Apple’s frameworks use negotiated encryption when possible.

·       No data is stored on our servers.

8. Children’s Privacy

·       The App is not intended for children under 13.

·       We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children.

9. Changes to this Policy

·       We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

·       Any updates will be reflected in this document and, where appropriate, notified in-app.
